What kind of oil is everyone running?

You looking for engine bling or functionality? Cheap ones can be found at the auto stores.

Check out some of the more legit oil brands.
Amsoil. German Castrol. Eneos. Motul. Etc.

Mainly functionality but bling is nice too. I heard that the greddy ones pick up a lot of the metal due to its magnet used on the bolt.

I picked mine up at one of the chain auto stores for about $4. I will be changing my oil in September before Tail of the Dragon. I will be curious to see what it picks up.

Mobil 1's not even a True Synthetic, so if that's what you're going for, you're wasting your monies.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Mobil 1 uses a Class III Base Stock, but is still legally able to call itself a "Fully Synthetic" formula.
Think that's the case with many formulas..
Also, I don't think Mobil 1 products ever get a good review from BITOG.

Most things labeled full synthetic are class 3 base in the US. Some users definitely went sour when mobil switched from class 4 on BOTOG. There are still great results from civic owners - using class 3 oils.

Agreed. Heck, conventional dino oils are good enough as long as you're keeping up with your change intervals. It's just my personal preference to use higher grade synthetics than your typical OTS brands.
Just found out the NAPA around the corner from my house regularly stocks Eneos for eight bucks a quart. Sweetness.

I use Eneos as well, most Napa's in the states now carry it, some even have the 4 quart jugs which is how I got mine. It's a bit pricier than Walmart jugs of mobile 1, etc but you are getting a better quality, true full synthetic.

Up in Canada, some Napa's carry it as well and baring Canadian Tire sales, it is actually usually a better deal than the big names.

What kind? Signature Series or Extended Life? It is $10.55 a quart for signature series plus shipping directly from their site. I would say that is not bad...especially given shipping cost to Hawaii. If you are looking at Extended Life, it is $7.65 a quart. $13 a quart would be a bit overpriced.

What I'd suggest is to buy which ever Amsoil you like one time and run it till you get the 10% notice, to change, and see if you get the high milage Amsoil says you should get, if not go to something like Mobil 1........
