DRL's on while Headlights are on

I was wondering if anyone has ever done this on our 9th gen civics? Or is it even possible? Because I REALLY like how the yellow hi-beams contrast with my regular colored headlights, I just don't want to be driving around the road blinding people and getting mad citizens on my case... Please help! Thanks guys!

Will it work the same way with the 9th gens?

its essentially the same setup as the 8th. Note that if you do this, you'll have no chime notifying you if you'd leave the lights on after turning the car off. So you'll have to remember to flip the switch off any time you get out of your car. Otherwise it'd just drain your battery.
