What a **** show. When I got the wheels back. They looked like ****. You could see where they hung them and no powder got on that part of the wheel. And it could be seen. Not like under the valve stem or lug nut, on a spoke! And one of them had too thick of a coating. The work wheels stamp felt flush there was so much powder on there! There was like an 1/8" of powder coating on the mating surface of the wheel. Great...... That would mess up my offset and not bolt on to the hub flat. They didn't even attempt to mask it.

Then you could clearly see the outline of the wheel stickers on the inside of the barrel. You know the stickers that tell you the size and brand of the wheel? Yea that one. They powdered right over it!!!! Meaning they didn't even attempt to strip the old powder off.

So I called and complained. They agreed to redo them claiming they outsourced it to some guy. Totally trying not to take the Blame. Lol. So the next day I go to return them. And I look at the wheels. And they're ALL Cracking like a sheet of glass. Spiderwebs everywhere. Wtf. Well now they've had my wheels since march 14. They keep saying "next week" "next week". So sick of this. I'm furious.

That sucks... sounds like someone didn't want to do that prep work properly. I had that same experience with a shop that does powdercoating. They made a mess out of an aluminum alternator bracket, several 'pimples' in the finish. In a couple of minutes on Google, I found out what the problem was ( zinc boiling out of the aluminum ) when heated... and how to rectify the issue.

A higher temperature pre-bake without powder followed by a second rinse and then powder application would have fixed that. Sucks to hear of your issues, but I can relate.

Yea I'm so mad I might just sell my wheels and suspension when I get them back. Sick of it all. Sick of potholes. Sick of getting pulled over for no reason every week.
