I'm in the market for a new shift knob any recommendations? I really want a weighted one since I seen alot of positive feedback from them and it's better driving supposedly? Many thanks in advance for any input.

How much lower does the knob sit than the stock one?Is that the stock shifter?

It's the "burnt gunmetal" finish. It has a tint of blue to it.
About $135. $99 is base; you have options you can add such as finish, grooves, custom etching on the top, etc. You can also pay an extra $5 to get priority 3-day production turn-around.
I didn't measure, but it seems like quite a bit. More than an inch, I think. Yeah, stock shifter.

A blue tint to it?
i want a gun metal finish like on the skunk 2 knoban inch lower? it's like installing a short shifter ! do u notice shorter throws?

Honestly, I'd say it feels slightly shorter, but I wouldn't say it feels like an actual short shifter. But then I put it on almost immediately after buying the car, and I was coming from an actual short shifter. I also wanted a slightly, darker, grayer hue, but it's grown on me.

i know it's not as short as a real short shifter. I really dont want it that short though. i do however was it a little shorter and lower then what it is now. this might be a good compromise.

Unfortunately, his gunmetal finish has a slight blue to it. Not sure why. It's pretty slight, but it still might bug you; don't know.

Where is everyone getting their carbon mugen shift knobs? I'm scared if I purchase one it won't be genuine and legit. Also what's the price people are spending on em? Many thanks in advance for your input.

I've got 2 new shift knobs on the way. A red metal ball style which will be here this week, and a custom momo leather black with red stiching that ill have to wait a bit for.
I checked out more stuff on his website, that guy makes some good looking ones

Bunch for sale on eBay. They are knockoffs, but they reportedly look/feel great.
Yea awhile ago,it took a little pressure because both my hands have psoriatic arthritis in them and my fingers lock up,but neverless it's in and sweet as hell,best 30 dollars I ever spent! I'd pay 100 for one ,its that damn good.

I think the carbon-fiber mugen ones are lighter. The weighted metal ones are listed as 460-465 grams which is like a pound, they look and feel great when you're driving around. I have a M1 from TWM and I like it a lot, but I want to buy one from lathewerks later this summer, just because they have a cool bluish tint option and they're a bit cheaper than TWM's
