These are off a 2006 Acura TL that was written off this winter. Rims are in mint condition (car had under 60000kms) and tires 8 months old. These will fit model year 2004-2008 and possibly other models. The tires are Michelin Pilot HX MXM4. They are 235-45R17. Asking $900 for rims and tires.

Think I will call later on today.

Agreed, but this is tires and wheels for that price, not bad IMO. Tires aren't quite what I want to run, but maybe I will make a season on them before buying some Pilot Super Sports.

The only trouble with getting a set of aftermarket wheels in my neck of the woods, selection is limited, prices are stupid high. I can order and have them shipped to a US address, drive across and pick them up, but then I have to pay 15% when I bring them back, pay $ 3 each to the package forwarding service and so on. These are about 30 miles away.

17x8" from what I can dig up about them, looking to see what the offset is at the moment. Also, 235/45/17 is the factory size for those cars. Google reports the offset is 45 mm.

I called and left messages, and even emailed. They finally got back to me today to tell me that they were sold. Boo.

Does anyone know what kind of sensors (if any) fit on these TL rims? I found some in my neck of the woods for $300!! :spinning:

hmm possibly an older rota that they don't list on their site any more. Maybe the Rota Attack? They look shiny almost like they were possibly refinished. Powder coated maybe?

There should be some sort of stamped marking on the backs of the wheel or back of the spokes. The newer rotas that they show pictures of don't show double drillings on their website anymore..... difficult to match but rota does make tons and tons of wheels.

$600 isn't bad for wheels and tires. See if you can find out what tires are on there. They don't look to be in bad shape. I can't make out anything on the sidewalls even zoomed in.

I zoomed in on the one shot of the tire facing outwards in the leaf pile... adjusting the zoom, contrast, color, I can't make out any letters but there looks to be a swipe mark across where the tire brand/lettering might go. Possibly rubbed off? It would be hard to rub a 17x7 on these cars unless the offset is something unmanageable but it doesn't look that way.

I would ask for a couple more pics, tire size and brand, and see if they can find any markings on the rear of the wheel or backsides of the spokes.

Let us know what you end up doing.

Sucks That they are already sold. They would have looked great....I was considering those for the longest time. This deal makes me realize even more how lucky I was on my tires. Same story....guy wrote off his CSX in the winter.

nice! Those are a good looking wheel. Plasti-dip in white or black looks good on em as well.
