The Ayinger Hefeweizen is also phenomenal.

Also had a Edmund Fitzgerald for the first time in quite a while. Possibly my favorite Great Lakes beer.

Had a Samuel Smith Chocolate stout yesterday that was excellent as well.

Have had a lot of different stuff lately. Nothing new really. A lot of common beers mostly.

Pretty good I must say. A little boozy, but nothing over bearing. Would drink/buy again.

Decent. Nothing special. I much prefer their stout.

Very good, imo. I can't think of another stout that's as readily available, as cheap, and as tasty as this one.

This beer is definitely not for everyone. I enjoy pumpkin/spices, so I enjoy it. However, a bomber is way too much of this beer. 12oz is about all I can tolerate.

Not bad at all. I'd say it's pretty good for an American made tripel. I don't know if I'd ever buy again, but it was worth a taste.

Meh. Average at best. I much prefer SS stouts.

The only pumpkin flavored beer I've tasted was Blue Moon's from their seasonal variety pack. It's not bad, but I prefer their original and pale ale more.

The Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin is a little better as far as readily available pumpkin beers goes.

Pumpking is widely regarded as the best, or at least one of the pumpkin beers out there, and I'd have to agree. Not something I'd want to drink everyday, but it's definitely worth a glass or two every fall. It's also deceivingly strong at 8.6% :giggle:

I've also been on a huge stout kick lately. To the point that I'm craving them over other types of beers. I don't even know myself any more. :turbospin:

I like how Buffalo Wild Wings is starting to attempt to cater to the craft crowd. While they don't have anything special as of yet, it's a start.

I saw something the other day about the craft growth in the US. It's growing very fast. I believe craft beer sales were up something like 20% in 2012. I'd love to see this trend continue. Not only is it less money for the big boys, but it means that there is a growing interest which will only lead to more great beers/innovations in the craft industry.

A local restaurant has a beer card 50 different beers in a year. I just finished card #2.

50 different beers at the restaurant? Or just in general? There aren't very many restaurants around here that have 50 different beers. Only a handful I can think of :pout:

I started my Untapped account on June 16 of this year. Since then, I have had 91 distinct beers :rotfl:

Very true. I've noticed other places have started to cater to the craft brews as well. I still will drink stuff like miller lite and other mass produced beer on occasion. They serve their purpose.

But they don't compare to the craft and specialty beers at all. There is just no contest.

At the place :D its called "the old forge" in in Lanesboro mass. They have something like 120-150 beers along with an ever changing draft selection. They also have damn good wings. I work right down the road and my first card a coworker went together all the time and knocked it out in 5 months. They limit you to 4 beers a night with good reason. Next time we go ill snap a pic of the bible aka the beer selection book. If your ever out my way we should hit it up.

At this point, I really can't picture any scenarios where I would ever buy bud or miller lite. There are just too many better options, even if they are slightly more expensive. If I'm at a bar that only serves BMC, I'll gladly stick to liquor for the night.

Now I'll still drink them, if I'm at a tail gate, or a friends house, but as far as purchasing them myself, very doubtful.

Sounds awesome. Wings and beer, what more could one want :giggle: 4 beers seems like a solid limit, given you're not drinking <5% sessions all night. I'll def keep that place in mind if I'm ever in Mass.
