9thcivic is now setup with "Site-Supporter" accounts.
What does this mean? This means you now have access to a premium area of the site. You'll also have the ability to insert a signature, and update your own user title. I've had a number of users ask if they can donate to the site in some way, and this is your way to show support. The vip area is located in the off-topic area of the site below the watercooler. It is set to "private" for non-vip users.
Under "account upgrades" : http://9thcivic.com/forum/account/upgrades you will see 2 options for site supporter vip access. You can do a monthly payment of $4.99, or an up front yearly payment. These are auto-renewing payments and can be cancelled at any time. You can always try it out for a single month, or continue to donate as you see fit.
Even if you have no intentions of having a signature or using the vip area, you can use this as a way of donating to keeping the site going. Everything is appreciated.
