Well it's been quite some time since I posted here, and lots of good things and interesting things have happened, and I thought i'd share them with the forum since they relate to my 12 LX lol.

I recently got a new job, so a little extra money for MODS is available, so I started off with the HPS SRI from corsport. Really love the way it makes the motor sound, it's obviously not going to give mind blowing gains, but it feels a little better up top. bolted right on in under 30 minutes, worth every penny.

After that I pulled the trigger on the progress 24mm rear sway bar with poly end links, and that is also worth every penny. a little annoying to install, but it makes it feel like a different car, really saw improvement on turning in, it also rotates the car much more and provides alot of stiffness in the rear.

And finally I got the weapon-r header and downpipe combo. also worth every penny, but unfortunately it's NOT a direct bolt on from my experience. The header fits perfectly, but the downpipe is around 2 inches off from fitting correctly. This of course was fixed by going to my friend's exhaust place and spending a couple bucks to cut and weld to fit. It sounds pretty good. the smell is better haha. My setup right now is weapon-r header/downpipe and 2.5 piping all the way back to my stock resonator ( which i will eventually replace with a different resonator ).

now for the interesting part....

I come out to my car in the morning to go to work, I look down and I see oil ALL OVER the place.. I immediately jack up my car and start trying to diagnose what is going on.. I rule out motor oil because I checked my oil level and it was perfect, considering I have just changed it a couple thousand miles ago. I took a smell of the oil and what do ya know, it reeks, must be TRANNY fluid. after searching a little bit I decide to let Polly sit the day out and take my parent's car to work.

After work I slapped polly on jackstands, took all under body panels off, cleaned everything, and started feeling for cracks, inspecting the fill and drain plugs, washers, etc. I find NOTHING, everything is perfect.

After almost giving up, I start to feel around the transmission, and felt that something was missing. I found that a 32mm seal bolt was GONE.. reference to #11 on the diagram: http://cdn.revolutionparts.com/ill2...212161b1d161671164453&t=1389231577&make=honda

First of all I am shocked that I even missed such a giant bolt, and giant hole, then start to wonder... where the hell, and how the hell did this fall off?

So I went to honda in hopes of them having it in stock so I avoid the headache of arranging a rental, but of course they didn't have it, but ordered it for me set it up for an overnight shipment for $5, which was awesome. So I ordered it, and on the way home, I decided for the hell of it, i'm going to try and find my trail of tranny fluid and maybe by a lucky chance I can find the bolt.

I find what looks like an explosion of fluid on the ground which was from my car (lol) and I drive by a couple times, glancing in the grass and street around it. I turn around for the fourth time and step out of the car and what do i find? THE BOLT. I looked like quite an idiot dancing on the side of the road with this big bolt in my hand, but i knew it was time to fix my baby lol.

I bought some Amsoil Synchromesh MTF from a local dealer, drained what was left of my old fluid, cleaned off my bolt i found, slapped some loc tite on it, torqued it, filled my tranny, and my car is as good as new.

Thought i'd share that because i'm wondering if anyone has ever even heard of that bolt just falling out.. lol

Thanks guys, end of wall of text

Have you had any type of service, or a shop looking at your car that could have caused it to be loosened? That's insane! Nice to see you back though :thumb: You missed the calendar entry this year :(

Nope, I do everything myself. but I would guess the track days and overall beating on my car caused it to pop loose haha wooopsies.

and thanks guys, glad to be back!

and @VNPP I love the way it sounds. the header fits very nicely, everything bolts up, and took me 20 minutes to slap the header on. as for the downpipe, it's a little shorter than I need, but I got it modified by an exhaust place and it's perfect now. I'd say if you are in the market for a header and DP, the weapon-r combo is as solid as you can get, and dont forget to pick up a defouler. the 90 degree o2 sensor defouler. I ordered everything from @CorSport
