I received an estimate this morning... $500 :pout:
That's ridiculous. You can't spray clear over it and do a bit of wet sanding?

If the cracks are only in the clear coat it may be possible. From what I have read though if the cracks are into the paint and/or primer, they'll eventually resurface. It's had to tell how deep they are and if the cracking occurred from the primer-out or clear coat-in.

I wet sanded the area yesterday, the cracks are past the clear coat. I took a claim out with my insurance company, but my deductible is just as much as the estimate I got yesterday for repairs. So I'd still be paying out of pocket.

Spot repair is another option. I wish I didn't throw my clear coat blender out :(

I was thinking about the 2013-2014 Accord HFP front lip to cover the area, but they would probably look out of place. Plus they're expensive and I haven't found any replicas.

Best way as you guessed is to fine sand it down the area and just repaint it. Clear coat blenders arnt to expensive at least :(
