I was just wondering if anybody attempted to paint their 18' HFP rims. I would like to see a few different colors before I decide to just go ahead and do it. Thanks

And if there are no pictures does anybody have an opinion on what color that I should paint them? I like bronze and black with a red lip. Any opinion would really help. Thanks

I'd start with plasti-dip. It's cheap and it will at least give you an idea of what the wheels will look like. Also, if you don't like it at least it's easy to remove. It comes in a lot of colors now. Just google it. You can usually find black at Home depot. I noticed rust-oleum has started making a similar product but I dont know anyone who has tried it yet.

lots of blaze colors......

Yeah thanks, I have been looking on the plasti dip thread on here and I think I might try the gold metalizer color... I really like the look of it. I was also thinking black with red lip but there isnt much space to put a red lip on the HFP's.

I've seen white & other various colors on these hfp wheels, but these may not be the hfp wheels you're referring to?

No, sorry I should have specified. It is the 18" HFP wheels for the 9th gen. Just uploaded a picture of them so hopefully you have a better Idea.

Yeah I haven't either, I have been searching everywhere for someone who has but no luck so far. I'm probably going to try the metallic gold. I'm just not sure if I should go with black plasti dip and then the gold or just try the metallic gold right over the rim the way it is now.

I decided to try it out on my winter wheels first, without doing the black. after 2 coats of the metallic gold this is the result. All of the videos I have seen so far they have applied 4 coats. What do you think?

Yeah I am going to do the rims matte black first and then the metallic gold to give it a light bronze. That was just 2 light coats. I just wanted to get an idea of the color that the gold would be. I didn't want anything to bright.
