Nice update! How much better is the car with that sway on there? Massive difference isn't it? I love the comparison pics of the new and the old one. Always make me laugh at how small the stock one is on the LX.

Ya, big difference. Car feels so much more solid now. I'm taking some highway exits at 80 km/hr. Never done that before. :turbospin:

I need to change that plasti dip on the rear bumper to the carbon fibre overlay which i have sitting collecting dust. I don't really know how to cut it perfectly to follow the line so I'm nervous to do it.

Hey pauly, there are kits available with the resistors already wired in for LED DRL bulbs. It's way easier than trying to bridge those in with T-taps. Not that it's a bad way to go. Just easier install with them already pre-wired with 9005 harness style clips.

ijdmtoy has them. I'm currently running a set. Worked great. Plug n play.

Thanks Nix. I actually am running the same kit as you right now. The Spec D headlights that I bought take an H1 bulb so that kit for 9005 bulbs won't work. Not only that, the resistors I ordered are so inexpensive. Shouldn't be difficult at all to wire tap. @323 did his that way too.

Replaced pkastip dip with 3M carbon fiber wrap. Looks a lot classier. :)

Thanks Andre. Yes, very difficult. The top part was easy, but once I started curving it underneath the bumper it started wrinkling everywhere. I tried my best to heat it up and was able to get many of them out, but it was challenging. There are still a few small wrinkles underneath that are not visible unless you look under. I'm going to Plastidip underneath to seal all the wrinkles.

I searched the net to try to find carbon fibre wrap problems/fails and was surprised to not find any. It seems I must be one of a very few to have problems with this. Find this hard to believe though.
