I'm not saying I'd do it, but at least it's an option. I'm just considering it at this point...I love my Si as much (if not more) than my Miata, but the lack of torque is definitely starting to bug me. Granted the Miata wasn't any better as far as that is concerned, but it had rwd and good handling to make up for it. The Si handles good, and it's fun to thrash on but I don't find myself wanting to rev up to 8,000 all the time which is when the Si is fun. I feel like the ST would be more fun for daily driving simply because of all the bottom-end torque

Greg, true about the low end TQ and overall 1/4 mi times are about equal. I had the Si, it is not nearly as fun as the ST. The ST is just quicker around town without having to rev to the sky.

That's what I want. IF I do end up getting one...IF...it will be very hard for me to let go of the Si. And it will derail my plans of getting a CBR600rr...

Driving the FiST was one of the bigger letdowns I had, after 10 minutes I just wanted out. Seems to be most new cars today are too electronic and not fun anymore.

We'll see. Until I have a garage to work in I don't plan on getting something old. Once I get a garage I'll get myself some sort of project for a weekend car, but for now I'm sticking with the new stuff. As of now, and keep in mind my project plans change a lot, I'd like to get a fox body mustang, swap in Cobra IRS, and swap the new 5.0 coyote motor into it. I know I know, mustang bad...but I've had this itch that only a V8 can scratch

I haven't read a bad review of the Fiesta ST yet which is why I'm actually considering the trade

the car is especially good and especially fun but it is a small car, smaller than the Si (Honda Fit sized). I get 40 mpg while highway cruising and 5.8 mpg when auto-xing. LOL a diverse car

The other small car groups don't know of the ST yet as I haven't had any ricers try to race yet.

The RS doesn't have traction control, stability control, or an e-diff. I just get in and drive. The 2015 WRX has all of the engine mapping modes, VSC modes, traction control modes, trac w/ VSC setting. And the STI is worse with all of the stuff one can electronically adjust.

It's been a while since I sat in a fit or looked at the actual space they have, but for me anything bigger than a Miata is luxurious. Hell driving across the country in the NSX was nice because we had room in the trunk for all our stuff and there was leg room. 40 mpg is better than the Si will ever get. Honestly on paper it really doesn't make sense for me not to get a ST...

If it has any it's more than the Civic...but I was just joking around about that. Not like I want torque steer, I just want the benefits of actually having some torque.

And in other news, I seem to have stumbled upon some good tires that I will be able to mount on my stock rims => drive to the dragon on my all seasons => swap to good tires => enjoy grip
