Took a drive to get the height set on the lights. Getting a flicker on both side both it comes and goes. I think it's the bulbs but not entirely sure.

Also the drives side light has a weird cut off and a bit of a hot spot. I'm not well versed on the mini d2s so not sure if this is normal or not. I'm pretty sure the bulb is sitting correctly.

This is the drivers side.

This is the pass side with the drivers side pointed way low.

id double check the bulb seating on the drivers side, that much curve the bulb may be sitting at an angle somehow or not fully inserted

Only thing I can suggest right off the bat is the bulb. Any chance you can make sure it's not being pulled up/down ....or hitting anything on the back side of the headlight itself? I had one do something similar when the bulb was being pushed a bit by a bracket behind the headlight, and another time when it was being pulled down slightly. Any force can cause it to do that sometimes. The blinking thing would be a bulb issue. Last time I had a set of bulbs doing that it stopped when I swapped bulbs.

the projector you have, is actually what I used to test a few different bulbs. This is the cutoff I got at 25ft with the orasm d2s bulb. This is your exact projector

looks good. so you can run it separate from your drl?
Yup....they turn on when the car key is in position 2 or with the car on only.

Tapped into the rear wiper fuse. Used an add a fuse thingy.

So the flickering I have been seeing in the bulbs has tapered off some but I am noticing that it is an on/off issue. Basically just comes and goes. What I have recently noticed this week, is that the flickering comes on during acceleration and will eventually go away when coming to a stop or just whenever it wants to stop on its own.

I have also noticed that if I am running the heat there is no flickering at all but it the bulbs/ballast seem to turn off/on super fast. Which basically is a different type of flicker, lol.

Hopefully I can see about getting all this on vid to hopefully put the whole picture together.

I know you guys are going to say check your wiring, but it is all good...at least it should be. I used all the factory ground points and any + wire(dealing with the HID kit) is hooked up to the battery +. Anyone think it might be the battery no being able to handle the HIDs?

FYI....I have been reading up on HIDs in Fits and not much info regarding my 2013 Fit having issue but the new 2015 Fits are actually turning off when people are turning on their HIDs, lol.

It's the original battery.

Did a little bit of research and I prob want to do the battery ground cable, maybe some other. This would def be cheaper than buying a "better" battery.
