How to tell if your car has one? And isn't it suppose to be a standard feature

You have a backup cam if you have the 2014 civic lx.

I will have to check in day light. But to my understanding all LXs came standard.

2013 onward the civic had the backup cams standard. I'd head over to the dealership if yours isn't functioning.

Another thing that might help is to get your owners manual(and the other book that's about your car features) and look though them.....
Not only will it tell you where everything is & how to set. It's a great set of books to learn about your car.

Today I learned. I had to look at the Honda Canada website to look that up. I didn't realize there was a difference with the cams.

Well that solves it. How thoughtful of Honda, seeing as it has been a frigid cold winter so far

Only thing I wish they had was auto lights and auto down windows. Most cars have them standard.

i wonder if the imid and everything has a open harness for the camera just to keep manufacturing costs down

quite a few users have installed it on their 2012's. I'd wager the 2014 would work the same.

Huh. Interesting. Didnt know that. Yeah you can buy a kit and wire it. Some people on the 2012 found out there was a hidden screen on the iMID for it

Some notification showed on my I-mid that said Honda Back Up Camera. I don't know why it popped up.
