I was going to do the same on mine but after lowering the car on H&R springs I scrape them on certain driveways that I frequent.

Not bad for $25 shipped. The red stripe is wavy but you only notice when you spin the knob. So won't be noticeable once installed.

It is def a little shorter, maybe a little bigger/wider, maybe a tiny bit heavier.




Thanks to @squiggy for the shift knob removal DIY, it made the swap a 5 min job.
