Thoughts on using aftermarket transmission fluid!!

I don't know what you have but I stick with Honda's MTF fluid. What I've seen and IMO it works best.

@Bruce Bartlow and I have had bad analyses come back with AmSoil and Bruce has also had a bad analysis with Royal Purple.

The main consensus is DON't. Use the Honda stuff.... however,

Theres been a lot of talk of 8th gen guys running the GM synchromesh friction modified fluid with great results.

@Br3TT may know more about it.

Oem fluid only for the 9th gen. I've run synchromesh in both of my older Hondas and it worked fine but I wouldn't use it in my 9th.
