Woot! Ken made it to second base with a TSA screener

Oh, and was it fun going through the screening?

It was completely uneventful. I showed my card and said, "I have a titanium hip." They sent me through the whole-body scanner, and said I was OK. I gathered my stuff and was on my way.

My brother works for TSA and he says it is REALLY thorough.

I took 10 steps out the door of my room to the elevators. Glass elevator down to the open center indoor courtyard. Two martinis, white wine, salmon dinner with salad, discussing relationships between universities and industry with 4 professors for tomorrow's symposium. 4 hours later I'm in the gym for 45 minutes. Back in the room, shower, and soon bed.

I called Marla to talk for a little while, and now I'm tired.
