Is there any draw backs from black/red vs shiny SS? I know I've read about how black(darker colors) holds more heat in than having it reflective. My vote's black though as far as looks

There is no drawback. At least I don't think  tonight will be a loooong night. Trying to fab most of this stuff.

This intercooler better stay in one piece from all the boost after all the trouble I went through to get it. New ups driver didn't feel safe leaving such a big package on my porch so he rescheduled delivery for in two days. I called ups and had them track him down then went to meet him. Rode for 5 miles with this thing sitting in a large box on the tank of the motorcycle

Got some piping for free thanks to a friend of mine. Boy did saving $100 from buying a universal pipe kit make me happy

cut out a bunch of your front bumper?
It's just the bumper beam. They are super cheap and I can replace it at any point. But you can't even tell its cut with the bumper back on.

Are you planning on going hood exit?
Of course. Look towards the driver side window corner. That's the exhaust from the turbo and the other thing is my wastegate dump tube

I was thinking more on the lines of the unfortunate instance that you had an accident and that area is all cut out.

I saw those. Haven't seen a 9th yet with hood exit exhaust. Probably going to be nice and loud. Will it still be a street car when your all said and done?

Full street car by week day, track car on werkends. That's why I kept my AC, heat, and even threw in 2 12" subs in the trunk.

The bumper beam is only good for low speed collisions up to 20mph. Anything after that it's useless

Nice progress man! Would you have any need for an external/auxillary oil cooler with a build like this?

It would help but it's not necessary. I talked to Derek about it and he told me not to bother adding one. It's a shame the 8thgens had an integrated oil cooler and we do not

Man it's been a while since I've last updated this. Anywho had some friends over from Bulgaria so I was busy taking them around and as of last week I'm back in school :meh: and didn't have a chance to do much with the car. However in the past two days I got my charge piping all done, wiring finished and all fluids filled. Received my basemap from vit so startup should be sometime tomorrow or this weekend. I really want to do it tomorrow but I won't have time to double check over everything one last time so it will most likely be over the weekend

Hell yeah! That's quite an amazing feat everything you've done to get to this point. Keep up the good work!
