I'm still looking to upgrade my GTX 970 but think I'm going the 1080 Ti route. Screw the 2080/2080Ti

All the reviews are pretty much putting the 1080ti on par performance wise with the 2080.

well i bought myself a threadripper 1950x yesterday because they were marked down to $449, even though its a generation old its hard to argue the performance for the price
