Oooh! It's pretty humid here, too. I gotta drive to Austin this morning--me and a friend are going to an Anime Convention this weekend.

Answers to FAQ's:

#1-- Yes, there are always a handful of people with poor hygiene
#2-- Yes, some in attendance are straight up weirdos
#3-- Yes, everything is overpriced

Morning

At first I thought it was ice/frost on the window but then read your humid comment.

Humidity > Frost/Ice

Humidity > Frost/Ice
It kind of looks like ice but just a super wet morning from the humidity every thing was soaked this morning it looked like we had a rain storm.

What's up everyone, I wanted to get some opinions on the subaru crosstrek. My wife is looking for a new car coming from a 2010 ford fusion and she seems to like the subaru. Anyone have an opinion good or bad?

We were offered $3000 for her car on trade but don't know if we want to take that or sell it ourselves. It has 98k miles on it and in pretty good shape for a 10 year old car.

@bauer311 has a cross trex. I would do a private sell you will get a lot more than you would with a trade in. But sometimes you can get the dealership to bump up if they want to sell the car.

Yeah my brother is going to see if he can sell it for us. He is a lot better salesman than I am. I'll just pay him a little commission on it and he should be fine.

I tried to get them to give me more on the trade and they wouldn't go for it so we left after that. A friend of mine is our sales guy we are dealing with though so it's not too bad to deal with.

@Gitrdone42, I can honestly say that my crosstrek has been a pretty good car. I had a very rare occurrence of an engine issue that Subaru won't fess up to, but other than that the crosstrek is great. I can speed over the speed bumps i have around here in NC and the big tires eat them up. One thing to maybe consider is the fact that despite it being an Impreza Wagon on stilts, it's considered a small SUV for insurance purposes. I found out after i bought it... But the android audio (in my case) works great, the heated seats are very nice, it has decent room in the back hatch and you can haul around 5 people pretty comfortably. I have the mid grade Premium, but i kinda wish i got the higher grade for the sunroof and the color info screen (although maybe the Premium with Eyesight would have a color one?) No weird clunks or noises from the suspension. I have 21k on mine and it's honestly been pretty good. Just make sure the recall for the ignition coil, radio software update and the newest pcv valve recalls have been taken care of before you take delivery. Any other questions on specifics, just ask and I'd be happy to answer them.

Thanks that helps a lot. I didn't realize there had been those issues but will definitely ask about them. We are going to go with the Limited model which I believe is the highest. If I come across anything to ask I'll hit you up.

Well, finally got the trash from Christmas off to the dump and managed to get all my outside Christmas decor down without falling off the ladder, lol. Going out to Thunder Valley (dragstrip) with my brother in law this afternoon and hoping to have a good time. Tomorrow my mother in law, her boyfriend, my wife and I are going to see the Carolina Panthers! I think this will be my first time seeing an NFL game in person... I'll post pics of that tomorrow. Hope y'all are having a great weekend.

@Gitrdone42 I couldn't remember the highest trim level, lol. But that one will probably come with the cross bars for the roof rack as well. And it had the LED headlights i wish i had... but definitely a safe and solid choice.

Yours didn’t fall into that pcv range I’m guessing
