Historic State Route 75 Tunnel:
This 200-foot long, 30-foot wide structure was built in 1859 during the days of horse and buggy as a way to get the iron from the furnaces along Lawrence County down to the Ohio River and ship it all over the world. Today, a staircase allows visitors to climb outside the top of the tunnel to view the scenic landscape of the tri-state region using high-powered telescope. Every October it opens and is used as a Haunted Tunnel to help raise money for The Lion's Club.
