Black Vs. Red JDM Badges

Hey guys, I need help!! I'm debating whether I should get the Black or Red JDM badges??? I have a 2012 Alabaster Silver Metallic Honda Civic SI sedan. I've seen that the Red ones are still a good fit for the Front Grill, however I'm not sure whether the Black Emblems have the same measurements as the Red ones?

Not sure that I've seen the black but i'm familiar with the red. I'm going to throw this out here because I always thought this looked great on ASM

Well that's obviously your decision. Those with JDM badges seem to always have red ones. Those black emblems in the ebay auction don't look like they fit at all.

That certainly would be different than what most people have.

the fact that they say it can be used on the front or back of your car.. um, yeah. It isn't the same badge on the front/back of the car. Yeah you can get it to stick with 3m tape, but the front spacing on grills aren't all the same between models.

OK I just did a litte bit more research, and the Red Emblems that fits my Honda are 3.6 inch in Height and 4.4 inch in width for the Front Grill, and for the black ones are 2.95 inch in Height and 2.92 in width. That's a huge difference

They look pretty sweet, but I wonder if it would look right on my car, since I'm planning to Plasti Dip my OEM Rims Black. What is the measurement for the Front One?

When I went to Grafixpressions, they had the badges but I don't remember which colors. You can always try them out if you haven't had luck elsewhere. BTW, do what makes YOU happy Since you are going for the silver/black theme you may wanna just stick with it stock since it's silver/black but if you prefer the look of the JDM badge, then go for it. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with red though. Just an opinion.

Get the red emblems because you know they will be a perfect fit and get overlays in whatever color combo you want from grfxp

I think they will have 9th gen stuff available soon. Also the overlays can be changed and you always have the perfect fit red under.
