I was tempted by a 2012 red wrx sedan at my dealer, but I decided to wait it out for the grey brz :D , because I know that eventually I'll have to fix boost leak issues with it just like someone's white WRX :banghead:

Nate's '12 has boost leak issues already?

His dealership has a bunch of incompetent mechanics that apparently can't install a boost gauge properly :D , should've went to IAG lol

My car had a loose throttle to I/C hose, but I was stage 1 at 17psi for so long but on a new WRX this would happen again no doubt.

damn that sucks Jason!

I still wanna figure out why my car screams.... remember in the video??

My WRX is fixed, I took care of it myself, I'm still pissed about the BRZ being another month away.

I think it's your turbo inlet hose, removes all of the restrictions, or it leaks and doesn't fit properly like other fine quality perrin products.

Yeah I didn't install the inlet... I heard its a ***** to get on... :-/

It's not too bad to install, I've had more difficult things.

Oh and there's a red WRX in my future, ultimately decided against the BRZ for a few reasons; I would keep my blue WRX, but I already got it ready to trade in (sold the mods I did) and the next owner (my cousin) was approved for the note.

what year is your current wrx? Can you say the reasons for not going with the brz?

I know this will be the RX8 all over again, I'll love the car for a few months but ultimately get tired of revving it up all the time to get power and the lack of torque. It will be a fantastic weekend car for me a few years down the road, just not now as a DD. Plus it'll give Subaru/Toyota a few years to sort out all of the bugs the car may have. I always liked lightning red, and this WRX looks pretty damn good in red.

I'm planning on going light, group N trans mount, sti 19mm rsb, and the whiteline rear diff inserts that I just took off the blue car this evening. Then a tune will wrap things up for quite a while. I plan on getting nameless muffler replacements towards the end of summer.
