I have: 2012 Honda Civic LX (Polished Metal)
I like: Honda reliability; easy to work on; interior design/layout; driving dynamics; mpg; Honda does details well
I dislike: While I really like the look and design of this car, the cost cutting on materials drives me nuts. Mine has great fit and finish, but I miss soft touch plastics, previous gen seat materials, carpeting, & woven headliner

(I also own a '99, and I appreciate the general continuity of feel and quality)

Like: driving it! The way it looks cruising, or just parked, or just after a wash. The interior, button layout, use of black and red.

Dislike: iMid screen, lack of option to install an aftermarket header, back seats are useless.

2012 Honda Civic EX Coupe (Dyno Blue Pearl) - dislike the "power meter" (or whatever it is called) on the dash that supposedly tells you instant gas use. Also dislike the small outside temp gauge and odometer. Maybe it's me but they are hard to see. Other than that I like everything else about the car. This is my third Civic. Previously had a 2006 and 2010 EX sedan and the thing I hated about them was the emergency brake used to hit your leg, especially on a long trip. Used to put a small pillow between the side of my leg and the brake. Someone must have bitched about that because Honda changed it.

2012 EX-L, Alabaster Silver.

I love the driving dynamics of the car! I like that I can get very comfortable behind the wheel, and the way the steering wheel feels in my hands. I like the exterior styling, WAY better than most of the other cars in the segment. Like the dual-level gauges, the digital speedo, and the iMid.

I do not like that the seat height adjustment lever is as high as it is. When I swing my legs out to get out of the vehicle, I have to be careful not to push down on the handle. I was trying to figure out why the seat sometimes seemed lower than where I had it set. I also don't like that the LX is not available with 60/40 split folding seats.

I wish they made the EX-L with a manual tranny. Though, at times, I wish I would have purchased an Si. More mods available for the Si.

One thing I have noticed with this car, is that there are a LOT of little things that Honda got RIGHT on this car. This is just one example.

you others may be used to this and likely don't even notice but i never noticed before but the intermittent wipers slow down when you are stopped.
Almost got in a accident i was paying more attention to the wipers than what was going on on the other side of the windshield
that's so Freakin' Kewl

Oh, thanks Intrepid! Now I'll be looking to see if they do indeed slow down. I'll take my son with me the next time it is raining, and I'll have him put a stopwatch on it. I'll tell him he's doing market research for Honda, and he'll think it's cool.

One other thing I would improve on this car: add more storage nooks and crannies. One thing I really liked about the Chevy Sonic.
