Yes thats Verizon. My work internet is always slow. You would be surprised we dont have faster internet.... we use to have slower :-(

I just tested my two laptops at the same time.

Optimum Online with Internet Boost:

Using my 5 year old Acer Aspire 5050(wi-fi).

Using my 4 year old HP 8510w(wi-fi).

I guess the Acer's wi-fi link does not perform as well as the HP's. The Acer is also a year older and has 5.75 gb of ram less than the HP. Lol.

I do, I am through Bell Aliant Fibre Op. I get TV, Internet and Phone all in one bundle. I have to laugh at my speeds though. Not even close to what they advertise. I am going to re-run the test when i get home from a wired connection and see...I don't think there will be a lot of change in the DL, but it should raise the UL a bit.
