Got the angel eye set in place. Had to trim the projectors a little bit so they could fit inside the angel eyes.
Need to find a "constant on" fuse that I can tap into so the angel eyes will stay on when the car is on since I have to remove the stock DRL fuse to make the bi-xenon HID work...
Not even cleared yet..... Used some nighthawk black paint from the 09 civics. Had some left over from a prev project.
Got the angle eyes trimmed up and just about ready to fit them In the shrouds. Still need to spray some clear. Not sure if I will pull the headlights this weekend or next.
Mini test on the angel eyes.....turned out well. Looks like I will just do a little trimming on the non lit part of the angle eye to clear the way for the second one I will fit behind. That way it will create a full lit circle.
It was fun....just need better brake fluid and better tires. A bit more power wouldn't hurt but not complaining much.
@Nix didn't really like me being behind him, lol
Found all the things needed for the retro. Just need to finalize how I want to do everything.
My old BMW angel eyes fit inside the panamera shrouds but they are not a complete circle. Might see about cutting down one of the angel eyes since I have 4 of them.
Earliest would be next weekend, trying to give myself 2 full days to get everything done. Still need to figure out the backlighting of the shroud. Also need to find my old D2S bulbs and if I can't them then I will have to order some new ones.
The shrouds are not deep enough. I already ordered some panamera shrouds and other stuff to convert my old D2S HID kit from Accord connections to Fit connections.
Will paint the shroud a bit....will look similar to this...
The car is pretty decent. If it had another 50-60 hp it would be perfect. I would go for the Si if you don't need the extra space the hatch provides in the Fit.
The new Fits are going to have a lot more aftermarket support compared to my Fit and it comes with a lot of the standard features...
