Went to the car show today to put my bum in a bunch of cool and expensive cars. Got to sit in the new Fits and was pleasantly suprised on the sitting position in the drivers seat. It seemed to fit my frame better than my '13 Fit. Felt a lot lower than my current Fit, which was nice. Loved...

Ended up buying some of that wire and replace the factory - wire. Went for a short drive and it seemed to help. I'll see how it does tonight after having the car sit all day. I ended up sanding down the spot where the wire attaches to the chassis since it was painted from the factory.

I went to Lowes but all their thick gauge wires have thick copper wires in them which make the cable not flexible then I still have to order the terminals.

Tried going to go to all the local stores and wound up with nothing! Not sure what the point of going to local stores anymore. Lowes was the only place with 0 gauge wire but no terminals for the wire. Plus the the wire was not flexible enough. Time to shop online....

It's the original battery. Did a little bit of research and I prob want to do the battery ground cable, maybe some other. This would def be cheaper than buying a "better" battery.

Will look into this some more...... Think a bigger, "better" battery would work?

Yup.....all my wiring stuff came from The Retrofit Store

I would take that over the Si any day of the week...... Problem is that is going to be uberly expensive compared to the Si, esp in the A-Spec package, and no 6spd kinda kills it for me.

So the flickering I have been seeing in the bulbs has tapered off some but I am noticing that it is an on/off issue. Basically just comes and goes. What I have recently noticed this week, is that the flickering comes on during acceleration and will eventually go away when coming to a stop or...

Yup....they turn on when the car key is in position 2 or with the car on only. Tapped into the rear wiper fuse. Used an add a fuse thingy.

Dat Fit doe...... :drool: I love it and hate it.....love the wheels, hate the wide fenders. Love the lights, hate the white light band thing. Overall......I'd take it.

Took a drive to get the height set on the lights. Getting a flicker on both side both it comes and goes. I think it's the bulbs but not entirely sure. Also the drives side light has a weird cut off and a bit of a hot spot. I'm not well versed on the mini d2s so not sure if this is normal or...

Pulled the DRL fuse and Morimoto bulbs, 5k temp.

I did but then that created issues with the bulb not properly seating in the projector.

Had to sacrifice part of the led ring to get everything to properly work. I'll explain in another post but both headlights are sealed back up and everything will be buttoned up tomorrow.

Well, just like anything I mods I do to my car......I have an issue. The panamera shrouds are too wide and too deep so I need to trim them down some. Nothing horrible but I don't have much room to work with do to the LED rings. I also need to bring the projector forward even after trimming...

The main horn is already done. You can see it there in the middle. The alarm beep just got done now. Although not sure how it will sound. I just use the left over hi-low horn upgrade from the '13 accord I had.
