Forgot to mention that I bought some LED bulbs for the fog lamps and a shift knob. Spent a whole $15 total on both items thanks to eBay, lol.
Don't expect much from the fog but just want to get an idea about color matching to the headlights.
I want to make it glossy black match with the piece below the rear glass. That will prob be a spring time project.
Eventually I want to do the pillars glossy black as well.
No trickle charger.
Should be going to lunch at noon so we shall see what happens then. Guess I can ride out to the car parts store to have the batt tested.
Ugh.....the Fit almost did not start this morning. Turned the key like normal and did not crank over. Turned the key again and held it for 2-3 seconds while pressing the gas pedal and it cranked over.
Lights and radio come on like normal, before and while trying to crank the car. Have not...
Thanks for the vid. I was wondering about the neg wire for the alternator since I only saw a pos wire in the Fit.
I plasti dipped the lower part of the bumper on the Fit. I'll get better pics tomorrow.
Still getting flickering here and there when on/off the accepted pedal.
Need to order some "true" power/ground wire and replace and add some grounding wires.
He won't be buying a manual car and prefers the looks over the gizmos. The little price savings is also preferred.
I think one dealership is giving him the base LX price for the Sport sedan, 2014. That's with no negotiations......
My retro work on the Fit.....
