I am still debating on the sub solution. I don't really like giant boxes and tend to value my trunk space. Plus, I don't need it to be super loud. Just well balance.

Bought a Kenwood sub, which slides under the front passenger seat, and seems to fill in pretty good. Found out it was a bastard to try to take out rear speakers, so plastered Dynamat all around them, and it seemed to help quite a lot. Getting ready to do the front doors, and want to hear from anybody else who has done the same.

I have yet to tackle the front doors. Be careful to make sure that amp can breath being under the front set.

It is the new design which has a 1/2" thick aluminium frame, just for heat removal, been impressed enough with that not to worry about it too much.
I just bought the Dynamat for the front doors and a set of JBL's to replace stock units. It will take me a month to do it, with work schedule.
Was thinking of making a video to document the process.
