2015 SI exhaust on 2012 LX

I was at a parts yard and came across a 2015 SI. I grabbed suspension components, steering wheel and gauges and what was left of the exhaust the muffler and resonator pipe that goes up to where the fire wall is and there is a flange, I have the flange for the next pipe but the rest is hacked off. So should I adapt it to the LX exhaust or find or build the last bit that goes to the down pipe? The flanges wont go together so I have to adapt it some way.

A muffler shop should be able to weld it together if you want to go that route. The 8th gen si axle back exhaust will bolt up, but the 9th si won't.

swap the flanges from your old exhaust piece that youre getting rid of onto the new Si one, and weld it all together
