basically, the touring has a separate DRL and the low beam LED modules have 3 wires instead of the usual 2, however the extra wire on the LEDs is a CANBus diagnostic talkback feature so that if theres a fault in the LED system a message can pop up on an iMid. Not connecting it doesnt impact functionality, it just means if something doesnt turn on you dont see a message since the non touring models dont know how to interpret the signal.

the other hurdle is the drl operation but thats handled by the wire diagram in the third link.

I saw that info earlier today. Seem "straightforward" enough. I think that guy actually is selling all the stuff needed for a decent price. That would be ideal for me but i need to pay some stuff off first to even think about dropping money on those. I do hate how crappy the light out put if now with going back to halogens...lol.
