Just wondering if the JL stealthbox I installed would lower the trade in value of my car. I dont know if I'm actually going to trade it but it would be nice to know if the sub would affect how the car values.

I don't see why it should affect the value in any negative way, unless you had to hack up the car significantly.

It should not be a problem. They just won't pay additional for that kind of stuff.

I'm probably going to keep it but the 2013 acura ilx is very appealing. I know at some point when I do tradition it in I just wanted to know that the sub is not going to detract from the cars value.

yeah, the dealer should not deduct money for having the amp.
