So, I'm struggling with the lack of android compatibility in my 2014 civic si sedan. I'm hoping one of you might have had some experience with a Chinese headunit.

I'm hoping you can tell me whether or not you we're able to keep steering wheel controls, and usb & hdmi functionality.

I want to have something android based so that I can use the tethering on my phone to power apps like waze and my slacker radio.

This is the unit I was looking at

Over on the Accord forum, a few tried a Chinese stereo. It was a complete nightmare. The head units did not operate as expected or promised, and then big surprise, their contact in China suddenly ignored all their requests for help after they took their money. Buyer beware. Those China stereos are cheap in price because they are garbage. Can't you find reputable brand stereos compatible with Android here in the States?
