^ Thanks guys, I appreciate it :)

Resanded with 1500 grit instead of 2000 grit to get rid of that orange peel. NOW they shine, but I did have to put some touch up on a small area... wasn't wet enough :giggle:

Looks good! what did you end up using to polish/swirl remover?

Thanks man, I might not have done it if I didn't ask you all those questions LOL! I used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, and finished off with Megiuar's NXT wax. I probably could have done without one of the first two, but they're just sitting in my garage along with the rest of my Meguiar's collection :D

Im really happy that you did ask me, you did a really good job on them. Last tip I can give you is, they fully cure in 3-7 days depending on temperature, which mean theyre the most sensitive to scratches .

Thanks for the tip. As much as I'd like to install them tomorrow or Wednesday since I'm off, I'll probably hold off so they can fully cure at room temperature versus 20-30 degree outside temps.

I took the body side moldings off today, I didn't like how they looked anymore. I put the bottom PMM mirror cover on, looks much better than black.

I have to do some spot paint repair, there's a nice gray spot where the moldings were :sadbanana:

Here's what I'm talking about. There used to be a chip there from someone opening their door into mine. I have sanded it down quite a bit. The most challenging parts will be the size of the area and blending the paint.

I'm also planning on repairing these areas...

Rock chip on the same panel as above:

Front bumper which I'll most likely have to fill (ugly radiator...):

There's also a small area on my rear bumper that could be touched up, but I'm not going to bother with it since I'm looking for a Si rear bumper.
