I really like all the photos. now i have evidence that the 9th gen r18 also has the spirit of a race engine. I'll try to ask everything about the car, i just hope that they're nice and helpful.

Could be an R20 bottom end. Those are pretty strong paired with an 8th gen ECU to run hondata and a turbo would be a nice race engine. If they aren't worried about the dash functionality and are just running race gauges they shouldn't have any issues. The R blocks are perfect for a turbo or high compression setup as the oil jets in each cylinder are for cooling and efficiency which work great with the boosted setups.

edit: The r20 bottom comes out of the CR-V I believe.

eh I had to go look it up... older CR-Vs and Accords non US market though.... I couldn't remember where I had read it. Probably a much easier swap for those guys if they are not US based.

Is it RDX? Acura..
I read that some where.. About the r18 engine that can be change and use some parts from RDX, about the Turbo. I forgot what article, when i saw it.

But i think Honda Racing will not change something in the engine. Honda Pride it's all motor. Honestly when i saw the pilot driving 1.8 civic manual i compared it to mine. I notice that his rpm is always above 4000 and keeping it in high rev for vtec. That means the spec is all the same. 1000 -30000 rpm the ecu knows that's for cruising. But in 4000 above that is High rev and High performance. I don't know the auto but in manual transmission you can manipulate the 1000-3000 rpm. " is that means no tuning? "

Instead of reengineering the unit to meet the stricter standards, which come into force for all new cars in January 2011. European customers will soon be able to opt for the 2015 Type R with its new Earth Dreams 2.0-liter turbo engine producing more than 276 horsepower.

I saw one post at hondata forum that He owns a CRV EUR and got the 8th U.S. Civic R18 Hondata Flash Pro. it work in CRV EUR. but this post was posted by just a person non Hondata employee. just got curious about it.thanks

sorry for the delay in responding.
Our civic 1.8 running on the N3 category, which does not do anything with motors must be manufactured, which is in the electronic work (motec) en escape (weapon) and especially we remove weight the car. Our cars weigh 1,180 klg.
The other big advantage is the gearbox, use a manufactured in Argentina, Dogbox with the adjusted ratios for types of road.
The difference with the rest of the cars, not the power or torque, is the excellent chassis having allowed the car go faster in the fast corners
