Umm.....I paid $2.859/gal for 93 octane E10 in Dixon, IL yesterday.
It'd be really nice if it got back down to under $2.50/gal again.

It's not real. That's with my Vons discount. But 2.89 there for 91.

Of course. CA has like $2/gallon in gas taxes. Can't be true.

What about electric car cost to fill? hahahahaha

For those who don't know, I bought a Nissan Leaf.

Just about 0.10/kWh here, full charge costs me about $3.00
I generally charge to 80% capacity and try not to run under 20% charge. 30kWh pack in the car and 80% of that means 24kWh for a full charge but I only use 60% so I tend to need 14.5kWh per charge. I have to charge twice a week so a nice even number is 30kWh of charge needed per week at 0.10/kW ~ $3.00/week

What's the empg equivalent? For that $3.00 I can go about 80-90 miles worth of driving. So if a gallon of gas is $3.00 i'm getting close to 90mpg on a car that is advertised at max 107empg. Not bad.

90mpg in this "thing"

At the "pump":
