GPS?

So I was playing with the maintenance window in the radio and I noticed that the car could see GPS satellites. This leads me to believe that the Navigation system is only a software thing.

Yeah, if you look under GPS in the diagnostic menu you'll see it. Has anyone found a way to actually modify the stock radio yet?

It's there for part of Honda link. You can enable your radio to make an emergency call for you if your airbags deploy. They need to know where you are.

Oh...hopefully there will be a hack for the system in the future. I won't be able to afford an aftermarket stereo for a while
