Help Please

I put on an intake that I took off my old accord, just a generic no name brand I changed out the section for the mass air flow sensor to fit the Si, and when Im at WOT and it changes to VTEC it...kinda bogs? or goes as if i let off then get back on like when it hits the rev limiter is exactly how it sounds, like it hits once bounces then continues. Im going to put the stock intake back on tonight. It drives fine no CEL it just bounces at WOT just wondering if you guys have any ideas of why this is happening.

How big is the intake piping that you are using? Over a certain diameter the sensor will have trouble reading the airflow correctly and you will need flashpro to make it function correctly. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

After putting it on, did you let the car idle for like 10min for the ecu to adjust? Could potentially help, or nix's suggestion above

If MAF sensor gets any dirt on it, the sensor will read incorrect numbers and car will run like poop

Thanks for the input!!

Fixed it I tightened everything and the MAF was loose!!
that fixed everything tightened it up and it even sounds different!!
My gas mileage took a dump too and now its climbing back up.
