How to polish small areas to get ride of orange peel?

How do people polish small areas around the bumper? I have a Harbor Freight DA and most of the tutorial videos I watch are of people working on large panels like hoods or doors. I am working on a 2013 civic coupe front bumper so there are many small contours that my pad could never reach. I just spray painted this bumper hence all the orange peel.

I am not looking for a mirror finish. Just decent enough so it can blend in with the hood and fenders.

You need to get a smaller backing plate. I’m guessing you have a 6” plate on it now? You could get like a 3” plate and 3” pads to get smaller areas. He talks about plates towards the beginning of this video.

Something like this should work. You’d just need some pads as well.
