Might have some corrosion....try wiggling around or prying it up with a screwdriver.

Whenever I've done anything involved my hids, I take my bumper and headlights off. It's simple and gives you plenty of room to work with.

Lightly hit it with a rubber mallet to wiggle it loose.

For the future ppl..........
Negative off first, on last. Just be sure to isolate the negative terminal after you take it off so it doesn't touch any other metal.

It sounds like the bent piece on the positive side is just the short bracket (cheap), and is only bolted to the main harness. And the reason it won't tighten is because you over tightened , or the clip isn't aligned when trying to tighten it.
As far as it being bent don't try to straighten it, do try to tighten it back up and take it to the dealer.

Ended up buyin some terminal post caps at autozone that make the terminal post bigger in diameter and i got it to tighten down. Terminal wont go all the way down on the post now but atleast its snugged up to it.

Makes it sound like it's still not resolved? If we saw pics of what's going on, we'd probably be able to be of some help, or provide suggestions on how to fix the situation. People can give you suggestions all day, but if they don't have a clear picture of what's going on, it's kind of pointless.

Heres a pic of the terminal before i rigged it to work. This is the state it was in when i could fully tighten it but lift it right off.
