Just put together this beast for my son. Lego Ninjago Lloyd's Dragon. 500+ pieces. If the tail is extended all the way it's about 22" long or so. Not really large overall, just lots of small technical pieces. Legos are always fun, no matter your age...

The 1:1 Scale McLaren 720S In Lego
The model is constructed out of more than 280,000 individual LEGO bricks and the car weighs 3,200 lbs (1,451 kg).
In order to construct the model, LEGO worked closely with McLaren specialists to ensure the replica closely matched the original. The LEGO car is built on a steel frame & took a team of six people more than 2,000 hours to complete.
The 720S will be on display at the Petersen museum through August 19th and it is part of a larger interactive exhibit which will enable visitors to customize their own mini LEGO Speed Champions McLaren on an iPad app. McLaren says fans will be able to add an assortment of unique touches including racing stripes, flames and special license plates. Users can then print a custom sticker of their car.

Just ordered the Bugatti Chiron Technic model. Should be here next week. Gonna take a while to built it I think. I have a dog and a girlfriend this time around. No marathons for building anymore.

That's wild someone posted about this. Being in the military I have access to the BX, PX and they are having a 50% sale on Lego's right now. It's there Christmas in July sale.

Bags 1 of Box 1 completed. The build difficulty is up there on this one. Technic models have the detail in the pin connections. This is no exception.

Bag 2 of box 1 completed. Was sick to my stomach when I had an extra gear. Tore it all down and had to start over. Dammit. Second time around, missed a bar. Ugh. Luckily it was easily accessed unlike the forgotten gear.
