Looking for white rims to match my white civic.

I was wondering if anyone knew of some good and not too expensive rims that are 15" so I can just use the tires I have since the car is only two weeks old.

I really want white ones to match or be extremely close Taffeta White.

Thanks!:hyper:

Well I was reading a lot about rims, since I went from a 1999 Ford Explorer to a 2012 Civic. I've never dealt with rims before. Would it make sense to just buy 15's since I have brand new tires? Some people recommended Plasti Dip.

applying plastidip to rims ^^

if you go up in size from whatever rims you currently have, you'll have to obviously buy whatever size tires. The price is all going to depend on size, quality, brand...and what type of tire. Look at discounttire.com or tirerack.com and get an idea of pricing if you want.

rims - take a look at what others have on their cars and see if anything looks like what you'd like. If the person doesn't have the specs of the rim listed, ask for them. Most of the users in that thread will be on 17"-19's though

I will tell you as a owner of white wheels, if you don't buy them white get them powder coated, forget the paint and plastidip. Also the upkeep can be a pain, I am cleaning my wheels weekly and I have switched up to ceramic brake pads to help with the brake dust.... And if you live in a area where you get snow your gonna have too switch back to stock wheels.

As for wheels itself, 16" are nice but most of the people I know have upgrade to 17-19" inch wheels. The Motegi's you posted are nice and if you love them get them

If you stick with stock 16's and switch your current tires over to the new ones, you may actually pay more in service work than to order a set of new wheels with tires and install them yourself. Plus if you buy a new set with tires, you can swap out for summer and winter or a different look now and then. Something to think about. Some wheel/tire combos can be pretty cheap if you find a good deal on ebay or tirerack.

that is an option, but just be aware that you will have a TPMS light on your dash when you switch between summer/winters. The way to have that message removed would be taking the car to honda. There are threads stating dealerships charge anywhere from 40-100 dollars each time they do the tpms reset.
