While it looks close, and the closing speed was scary, it was an opportune moment from the Lotus driver chasing the lambo, however, it was not that close: (however the first time I watched it a few days ago I didn't know what to expect and I jumped on the couch, lol.)

Yeah, it looked way more open from the cockpit of the Exige. I think the speed difference added more to the drama.
