can I ask why you want it lower? I was trying to find an image of the 9th mechanism, but was unable

If I remember correctly, the 8thgen had more room to move downward than these current gens. At least, that's how it seems.

So basically it's on a track and would not be able to move down any further? I was kinda hoping for a simple mod that I can do myself.can I ask why you want it lower? I was trying to find an image of the 9th mechanism, but was unable
here is a another civic one - you can kind of see how the column can move in the track up & down.
It's a comfort thing for me, I prefer the wheel to tilt down lower than it does.

I haven't seen the 9th, but I would imagine it being close to that design. I don't see that being a simple fix/change
