Just thought I would stop in and introduce my self. I just bought a 2012 SI w/Nav. Like it so far (except for the rev hang). At first I thought it was me, but then I remembered, Hey, you drive Diesels for a living, you know how to drive a manual. That, and my wifes car is a 2009 Impreza 5spd and don't do it. I have had another Honda befoe, a 2004 Pilot. Never had a problem with that so Im not worried. This is to replace my other daily driver and to get better mileage. I was driving a 1999 Ford F350 with the 7.3 getting 19mpg or my 1992 Supercharged Tbird getting about 19mpg. I drive a little fast. Before the 92 Tbird, I had a 1988 Turbocharged Tbird 5spd. Quick little booger. Ran 13.3's in the 1/4 and was fun to work on. And at 24lbs boost, had some giddyup in 3rd. Now I'm older but still wanted something fun, reliable and cheap on gas. As for runnng premium, thats all I run anyways. Both Tbirds needed 91+ and the F350 burns Diesel. The 92 Bird took $75 to fill and would last a week. The SI takes $40 and lasts a week. Hmmm which do I drive. Anyways, heres a couple pics of it I took at work, which you can see in the background. And if anybody is in the Boise, Idaho area and needs a hand or jsut to BS, Im up.
