Any suggestions on good projectors? I had an HID kit before in factory housing on my 07 civic but I want to do it right this time.

Are you thinking of trying the retrofit yourself? If not ask the retrofitter you choose what they have on stock or what they recommend. RX330 and S2K projectors are good choices. I know there are other great ones out there as well. FX-Rs and TLs are nice too. I think @ethlar and @webby are pretty knowledgeable. Also ask @FRDRICE

Thanks for the reply Nix! I'm going to take the projectors to a place webby recommended called JLC Lighting.

surf the forums on hidplanet and browse ebay for oem projectors, TRS sells some oem projectors too. Civic headlights limit some of the sizes you can use, 3rd gen TL and Lexus ls460 projectors are too big to fit. Lexus rx330, and fx or fx-r are good projectors to use for decent output, TSXs are ok not overly great but far better than pnp in the oem reflectors. If you want to go all out s2ks are generally favored.

I believe if you get the oem UAE headlights for the civic, 4th gen TL projectors bolt right in with no fuss.

If you want to go a different route, look into doing something with Corolla or MKZ LED modules

It's very hard to find "OEM replica" from the source in Asia right now. You can get replica set on ebay but they are not like "OEM" quality. Light output are suck and it's not safe to use at night. Some ebay buyer reported that they received headlights with bad molding.
Thanks @ethlar for your 2 cents. Retrofit is a good alternative option.
@team3d is still try to get some more in. When he has them available again, they will be in team3d vender section.

Wow this forum is amazing thanks so much guys for being so cool and welcoming =] I was browsing JLC lightings services since they're local to me and it seems that they offer a lot of retrofits with their custom projectors with halo's and what not. I'm thinking about taking a look at them also along wit asking if they have s2k projectors. By any chance do you guys know what kind of bulbs the s2k projectors use? I want to get a Philips HID kit since they're considered one of the best.

I'm also planning on doing OEM fog lights, accent lighting, and door lighting. Hopefully the wiring isn't gonna be too crazy and I can still get everything that I want done =]

I have the UAE "ebay" housings and would recommend them to anyone who plans to retrofit them as they're exactly the same from what I can tell. Although the projector in there is junk but that's what you should except for a $200 pair of headlights.

Not to knock on this, but 99 times out of 100, those projectors you mention may be projectors from china with very bad quality. You can find them on ebay and a lot of other sites for around $30-50/pair. The reason you'll pay $150-200 or whatever for a pair of oem projectors is because of their quality. The output isn't even comparable to the halo projectors. OEM projectors are what you want. Talk to them about using a TSX, S2000, FX35, TL, etc projector instead of their "custom projectors with halos".

I have RX330 projectors and they have been great.

If you're not aware of it the other thing you need to consider is getting a second set of housings. Either OEMs or the UAE "ebay" housings. A retrofit is usually not a one day turn around so you may be without your car for a little bit otherwise. It's honestly the best thing I ever did to my car. Expensive but totally worth it.
