What’s your phone model? I’m looking into causes, and it appears it can potentially be linked to certain phones/certain OS and how it codes the exif photo data. There may be a solution I can do on the server side

This has actually been happening to me with my iPhone XR. I personally use a Pixel 3, but my work phone is the iPhone. Over the last week I've had to take photos and email them to my work machne to upload to a network share. The all of the pics that I snapped for this project we were working saved rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. I had to manually rotate each photo 90 clockwise before I uploaded. Sounds like it's something to do with iPhones.
