Hi ladies and gentlemen, I have a question about intake whats the difference between ebay made item and AEM intake ? Ebay made 99 $ aem 269 $

Well that item looks like a knock off of the Injen intake.

You can see more about the Injen in the "Intakes" link in my signature.

I wouldn't buy a knock off like that...but that's just me.
If you want to try it, it does look identical but I would worry about poor quality materials and bad fitment...

Well, I'm not going to recommend one thing or another...I don't want the blame if something goes wrong, you know?

I'd say get the legit one. Better safe than sorry, especially when it comes to something important as your car

I had a knockoff injen intake on my FG2 before. The aluminum piping was good in quality. I didn't trust the filter or the heater hoses so I bought an Injen filter and heater hoses from Pepboys.

The only concerns with this product can be the fitment, sketchy air filter, hoses, and maybe the couplers. You'll end up spending an extra $75-$100 to complete that setup.
