@ripply had his exhaust go straight out through the hood. I think he was building for 650hp.

not gonna lie thats a sick build. Open headers forego the exhaust so it definitely is less restrictive.

Since we don't have a header you would need something attached to the exhaust port on the head.
The link above is a turbo setup and it's common to see hood exit on track cars. Probably not so good on the street (ie: parked in the rain)
