Managed to get in some skiing this weekend before the weather took a turn for the worse. My hometown mountain had 8-14" of fresh, light, fluffy stuff on every trail which is not common for Maine, so I drove 2 hours North to hit it on Saturday morning. Was the best day skiing I've had in a long time, I was like the only one lapping the un-groomed trails since no one in Maine has powder specific skis. I'm so pumped to go out West now for my trip, my new skis are going to KILL the Utah powder.

Agreed! The particular side of the mountain I was on has all narrow trails like the one in the pictures with trees overhanging, it made for a beautiful day of skiing. I was all by myself making run after run, definitely stress relieving.

I love night skiing, something about it is so peaceful!
Make sure you let me know if you come up this way. I'd join you for a ski for sure.
Alright, will do!

In other news, I leave for Park City a week from today! SO excited! New ski bag came in this weekend, it should fit my 186 Influences and my snowboard nicely. Hopefully I can keep it under 50lbs for the airline, the bag is HUGE. I'm starting to get things together, I'm planning on bringing my DSLR and my GoPro with me so hopefully I can get some good pictures/videos.
